Overview: SF works with government schools to improve the quality of education as a part of its efforts towards Rural Education. The Foundation believes that there is a requirement to support government initiatives for providing quality education to all. The foundation main goal is to Provide support to government schools in education development Initiatives.

The Foundation aims at supporting all the government schools in and around Sri City and has implemented various systems to improve building infrastructures, conducting cleanliness drives, Conducting Free Medical Check-ups, ensuring teacher-student ratio by hiring additional Vidya Volunteers (VVs)
Programs: Schools in and around Sri City are classified and identified based on the development requirements by the Foundation Members. After establishing the requirements of the schools, different programmes and interventions are planned and conducted.
SF posts Vidya Volunteers (VVs) in schools with poor student-teacher ratios. The local VVs are hired and trained through the Foundation’s HRD programmes to efficiently work with the students and their parents. Apart from teaching in the school these volunteers also work with the surrounding community members to ensure attendance and to make parents aware of the benefits of education and the change it can make to their future. The Foundation trains, supports and monitors the volunteers.
The Foundation helps schools with infrastructural needs like construction of additional classrooms or toilets and playgrounds, provision for computers, books and furniture etc.
